Shrinking!
So far so good! I started Weight Watchers on January 29. I am down 25 lbs, and my blood pressure was perfect at the doctor the other day. I am trying to find a way of eating that I can stick to for the rest of my life -- I am so sick of yo-yo-ing up and down. I am eating all my favorite foods and using the same recipies, the only difference is the portion. One normal portion, not seconds and thirds. It's working! Now I just have to keep it up, forever.

I'm all cookied out
At least I hope I am all cookied out. I am so mad at myself, I had to buy new, larger pants to wear to work. Time to knuckle down and get some weight off. Dan wants to lose a few pounds before his ski trip at the end of January, so we will attempt to count calories.
I really need to lose for health reasons these days. My blood pressure has been up, and I can no longer blame it on "white coat hypertension".
I eat a healthy diet most days, with fresh food I cook myself. Portion control is my problem -- I am a classic "volume eater". If I don't have a huge mound of food in front of me I am not happy. I wonder if I starved to death in a former life?
